WHAT IS MICROSHADING?

Microshading is a semi-permanent solution for FULL, Flawless Brows! The process is a form of tattooing, although Microshading only last 1-3 years depending on your skin type (longer lasting on dry skin types). Using a unique Microshading handheld electrical pen special pigments are deposited just under the epidermis in fine lines & ombré shading that mimic real brow hairs. Microshading is done with a specifically formatted pigment that has a thicker consistency than tattoo ink. It doesn’t penetrate as deep as tattooing, which makes it only SEMI-PERMANENT! Pigment is only designed to last up to 3 years. This procedure is completed manually, no tattooing machine used.

*If you use Ro-Accutane medication, you cannot be treated for 6 months after your treatment has finished. Also, if there is any bruising, cuts, or pimples in the area on the day of your procedure services should not be performed.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

The actual Microshading process will usually takes 2 hour depending on how much filling in is needed. This is a 2-step process, usually 6-8 weeks apart. It is important to complete both the initial procedure and touch up for long lasting results.

DOES MICROSHADING HURT?

Pain is relative, but not unbearable! Some feel more than others. A strong topical numbing anesthetic cream is applied prior to procedure. We take every precaution necessary to ensure the Microshading procedure is as pain free as possible. Overall it feels like little scratches or eyebrow threading.

THE PROCESS:

STEP 1: Consultation

STEP 2: Brows are numbed using a topical anesthetic for 20 minutes.

STEP 3: Brow outline for the perfect shape.

STEP 4: The Microshading process begins. This can take 30-45 minutes.

STEP 5: Once shading is completed, the pigment is applied all over the brow area to increase the pigment that can be absorbed into the skin. This will set and dry.

STEP 6: Excess pigment is wiped away to reveal your new beautiful brows!

STEP 6: If any touchups are necessary, the process will be repeated.

AFTERCARE

AVOID GETTING YOUR BROWS WET FOR 7-10 DAYS applying HEALING OINTMENT ONLY!!! Ointment can be applied at bedtime, be sure to use the ointment sparingly as your skin needs to heal itself. Please continue to apply for 7 days. Brows will appear darker right after your procedure. This color will lighten over 2 weeks to a more natural shade. Microshading is a 2-step procedure, touch-ups are recommended 4-6 weeks to make any adjustments.

*The following must be avoided during all 14 days post-Microshading procedure: Increased sweating, practicing sports, swimming; hot sauna, hot bath or jacuzzi and sun tanning. Picking, peeling, or scratching of micro pigmented area to avoid scarring of the area or removal of the pigment.

THE RESULTS:

The pigment used in Microshading is designed to last 1-3 years. The pigment will begin to fade within 12 months. In order to keep your brows looking fresh, a touch up is recommended every 12-24 months. After 2 years full price Microshading will apply. For clients that choose a softer look or lighter shade initially or those who did not follow the aftercare instructions properly may require more frequent touch ups.

• Strong immune systems

• Exposure to salt water

• Smoking
